Confirmation Mass:

On Saturday evening, our Year 6 students celebrated a very special milestone as they received the Sacrament of Confirmation, completing the Sacraments of Initiation. The sacrament was conferred by Very Rev Fr Andrzej Madry CR, with the support of Fr Shymon, in a beautiful mass at St Brendan’s Church. It was wonderful to witness the reverence and maturity our candidates displayed throughout the evening as they took this next step in their faith journey.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated Year 5/6 teachers; Kylie Edgar, Marg Van Der Peet, Kim McKeown and Loren Kondarios, for the care, commitment, and faith-filled preparation they provided throughout the year. Leading up to the sacrament, the students so thoroughly prepared through researching their chosen Saints and their qualities, under the guidance of their teachers. We are also incredibly grateful to the families, sponsors, parish community, and staff who joined us on the evening. Your presence not only supported your own child but all of the candidates, and it was a joy to see many peers celebrate other candidates as they took this important milestone.

We are also incredibly grateful to the parishioners for receiving the students' prayer cards and keeping them in their thoughts. Your continued encouragement and guidance mean the world to them during this sacred journey!

Congratulations to all of our newly confirmed students. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen them as they grow in faith and strive to live as followers of Christ.
