The Great Outdoors

It's been an exciting morning as our Year 5 and 6 children loaded their bags and themselves onto buses for their respective camps at Victor Harbor and Swanport. It follows on from our Year 3 children experiencing their camp last week.

It's common to see a mixture of excitement and some apprehension as the children (and adults) prepare for their outdoor learning experiences, while eating and living away from home for a night or two. It is a wonderful supportive environment to challenge yourself to try new things, perhaps be a little more independent, and have greater responsibility for self organisation.

Thank you in advance to our wonderful staff and volunteers for their commitment to provide these wonderful growth opportunities for our children, I look forward to hearing about their adventures when they return.

Welcome Mr. Grant

I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Grant last Friday afternoon. I was able to congratulate him on his appointment as our Principal and share some of the blessings and strengths of our community with him.

I'm coordinating with him to welcome him onsite and give our children and staff an opportunity to meet him in person. It is likely he will visit next week.

We are planning opportunities to meet before he begins next year, to enable a smooth and supported transition and handover.

Uniform Matters

Thank you for your support in providing the correct uniform for your child to wear each day. It has been pleasing to see noticeable improvements already so thank you for attending to this so promptly.

We will continue to monitor how our children are presenting each day in their St Paul uniform.
