Project Compassion Caritas Lenten Appeal

Thank you to all those students and families who donated to the Project Compassion Caritas Lenten Appeal. We are proud to let you know that this year we raised $523.00!

Easter Alleluia!

As we returned to school this term, we note that the Easter celebrations took place over the holidays. This is an important time of year for our Church and for us, as we celebrate that Jesus is risen. Our Grade 1/2 students led the whole school in a prayer service to note the occasion.

Opening Term Mass & Mini Vinnies Commissioning

On Wednesday 22 April we celebrated our Opening of Term and Mini Vinnies Commissioning Mass. This is a special time for us to gather as a school community to welcome a new term together.

We congratulate and thank Michael M who will be our Mini Vinnie Leader for 2026. Michael has already had an important role in organising our Project Compassion Lenten Appeal, and will promote the Vinnies Winter Appeal this term.

ANZAC Day

Every year at this time, we willingly and gratefully pause to remember and pray – we give thanks for those countless men and women who served in time of war. And those who sacrificed everything, for the sake of their families, their friends, their colleagues, their mates, their country and the freedom, the love, the friendship and peace that it symbolises. We remember and pay our heartfelt thanks to all who gave their lives.

May their sacrifice never be forgotten and may we continue to cherish the freedom that they fought for.  ANZAC Day calls us to constantly strive for peace. Peace in our world, peace among people in our own country, peace in our families and peace in our own hearts. We pray for people in our world who are affected by war at this time. May leaders everywhere work for lasting peace, true justice and understanding among people. May they come to know that true peace is the peace of Christ.
