Sacrament of Reconciliation
Last night, we gathered as a parish and school community to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The liturgy, led by Father Anh, was a reverent and prayerful occasion as our Reconciliation candidates received the Sacrament for the first time.
Throughout the evening, our students demonstrated a thoughtful understanding of forgiveness, reflecting on their choices and recognising the loving mercy of God. With courage and sincerity, they approached the Sacrament to ask for God’s forgiveness and experience the peace that comes with being reconciled.
It was a beautiful witness to faith in action for all who attended and a special moment for our students and their families as they continue their sacramental journey within our parish community.
Congratulations to all of our Reconciliation candidates!
Holy Week
This week is Holy Week. The most important week in the Church year. It is a time when we remember the final days of Jesus’ life, his great love for us and the hope we are given through his resurrection.
Throughout the week, our students have been immersed in learning about the many events that took place before, during and after Holy Week. From Palm Sunday, to The Last Supper, Good Friday and finally the joy of Easter Sunday, students have explored these sacred moments through prayer, discussion, artwork and reflection.
Holy Week invites each of us to pause, reflect and remember that even in times of sadness or challenge, hope is never lost. Jesus’ journey to the cross and the joy of the empty tomb remind us that love, forgiveness, and new life are always possible.
As a school community, we have gathered in prayer and liturgy to walk this journey together. We encourage families to continue these conversations at home and share in the hope and promise that Easter brings.
