PSA Model United Nations Competition

On Wednesday, Trinity participated in the PSA Model United Nations competition. This competition involved amending "conventions", one that was given ahead of time and another that was introduced on the night.

Trinity had 4 strong teams representing Sierra Leone (Felix Palmer, Marcus Dawes and Mason Welsh), Slovenia (Jimmy Jurjevich, Bowie McCabe and Joseph Kelleher), Guyana (Christopher Candeias, Arnav Dakhne and Zach McLean) and finally, a P5 country China (Matthew Blyth, Alex Kin-Maung and Jack Uhlmann).

The students loved the event, having lots of fun and meeting new friends from the various PSA schools. After some pizza and soft drinks awards were announced, and Trinity's late replacement (he only knew about the event hours before hand), Zach McLean won the best speaker of the event, having delivered 3 very well-articulated speeches and defending Guyana's point of view like a seasoned politician.

Year 10 Social

Thursday, 22 August saw Year 10 students from Mercedes and Trinity come together for their final social of the year. The theme was Dynamic Duos and the standard of costumes from both schools was awesome! Throughout the evening, students were able to enjoy drawing their partners portrait, photo booth, DJ, partner games and a waffle/ice cream van.

Overall it was a brilliant night with students from both schools being respectful and getting into the spirit of the night. A special shout out to Year 10 PCG Student Leaders Thibault Martin, Luca Misiun, Isak Manning, Daniel Russo and Seb Santoro for the organisation of the whole social, no small feat and they did an epic job!
