Active & Alive

Dream Cricket

On Thursday 7th November, our primary students ventured to Wade Park for the annual Dream Cricket event. Run by Orange Rotary, our students joined other primary schools from the region to participate in modified cricket games and drills. This program is designed to be inclusive of all disabilities and providing a fun and positive experience for students. As can be seen from the smiles on staff and student's faces, a great day was had by all.

Secondary Sailing

With the weather warming up, our secondary students have been able to dust off the sail boats for sport. Heading out to Lake Canobolas each Wednesday, students have been enjoying the ideal sailing conditions putting their skills to the test. Sailing will be offered as a secondary sport again in Term 1 2025 with choices to be sent out shortly.

Orange Thunder Junior All Abilities Program

Thanks to Miss Shez, Miss Ashlee and Year 11 student Kruz, our primary students have been spending their Wednesday afternoons at Waratahs participating in the Orange Thunder junior all abilities touch football program. This program is a completely inclusive program that provides opportunity for people with intellectual and/or physical impairments to learn touch skills and play the sport of touch football.
