Positive Wellbeing for Learning (PWL)

What a way to start a Wednesday! This Wednesday our wellbeing team treated the staff to a BBQ breakfast before school. The weather was perfect, and the bacon and egg rolls and coffee were delicious. Great chatter and smiles were shared, and everyone went off to class just a little more relaxed. Thank you to our hard-working wellbeing team and particularly Mrs Griffen and Mr Rasmussen and as always thank you so much to all our hard-working dedicated staff for all you do for our students.

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)

Some of our students have a hard time understanding things like personal space. That’s often because they don’t realise they’re making other people uncomfortable by standing too close or touching them, or they find it a little harder to judge what an acceptable distance is. Of course, all of this means that it’s important to teach them what is acceptable at school and to reinforce our expectation of hands and feet to self.

The whole-school focus for the rest of this term is Be Safe: keep hands and feet to self

All classes will complete lessons and role modelling, demonstrating and reinforcing how to keep your hands and feet to yourself so that every student and staff member feels safe at school. Visuals will be displayed in all school environments to remind and reinforce our whole-school commitment for the remainder of the year.

PBL superstars:

Congratulations to these students who are recognised as respectful, responsible and safe by their peers and their staff.
