Open to Alpine Shire youth aged 12–18.

Easter Car Boot Sale

The Rotary Club of Mount Beauty invites the community to our Easter Car Boot Sale & Show ’n’ Shine on Easter Saturday, April 4, from 8:30am – 1:30pm at the Mount Beauty Secondary College Oval.

Come along for a fun community morning featuring a Car Boot Sale, Show ’n’ Shine Classic Cars, BBQ with egg & bacon rolls and sausages in bread, and a Major Raffle drawn at 12pm.

Kids can enjoy the Easter Hat Parade at 10:30am, Easter Egg Hunt at 11am, face painting, and a craft table, with Alpine FM broadcasting live on the day.

Car Boot sites are available for a $20 donation to Rotary.

Youth Leadership Opportunity

Alpine Shire Council are seeking new members to join the Resilient Alpine Youth Squad. This group is a youth advisory group and is a space where young people can advocate for our community, influence real change and represent the voices of local young people.

They’ll have the chance to speak directly with Council, help run events, collaborate with experts in climate action, emergency management and youth advocacy, and connect with new friends from across the Shire.

Road Safety Program Opportunity

Cool Heads is an information night for young people, to promote safe driving and increase awareness of road trauma. Presented by Victoria Police, Cool Heads is a free event held in Wangaratta on Wednesday, 13th May.
