Vermont Secondary College
On the 16 February 2026 all families were emailed the Annual Enrolment Update, one for each student at the college.
This is an automatically generated email from the Department of Education’s database. It included a PDF attachment with details of the current enrolment data the school holds for your child.
We have received a great response back, but it will take us some time to process all the updates. Please be patient, we will get there.
Some people were unable to read the last few pages regarding Occupational Codes. If you have not had a substantial change to your job, then please disregard these pages. Otherwise please refer to the attachment.
If you have not yet replied, please look at the data carefully and make any changes necessary to ensure we have the most updated and accurate information.
Please pay particular attention to:
Contact details – are the phone numbers and email addresses up to date?
Emergency contacts – are they still available and are contact details up to date?
Medical information – is it still current and if it says to provide us with medical plans, then please attach them.
Access restrictions - if any court orders are in place, we will require a copy.
Residency visa – if you hold a visa please send a copy. If you are no longer on a visa, we require a copy of citizenship papers
Is Parent A the most contactable and accessible parent as many emails and events will only be sent to Parent A
Please return the form, with your signature (or your name typed into the signature box,) even if you do not have any edits. Edits can be made directly on the form itself. You can hand write them or do it electronically in colour, so the edits are easy for us to identify. Please EMAIL the form, with any other attachments, to 8420-Registrar@schools.vic.edu.au.
If you have any questions, please feel welcome to contact Tanya or Sally in the office.
Remaining SSB credit and CSEF funds will now be allocated to events accordingly before publication to families.
Protecting the safety and well-being of students through the reporting and monitoring of absenteeism is the responsibility of both parents/carers and schools.
Please remember to log your child’s absence using Compass early in the morning if your child is going to be away, or late for school, so your child’s absence can be recorded correctly.
Please see our Quick Reference Guides below for more details on;
how to complete an absence (this includes and early departure or late arrival) on Compass, and
how to put a medical certificate onto Compass
