Swimming for PE was super this week! It's been a great opportunity for students to practise their technique for the carnival and beat the heat at the same time. Our new kindies took it all in their stride, a trip to the pool on their second day of big school and they nailed it!

Thanks to all parents/carers for your organisation with swimming gear. 

Swimming Carnival

We're looking forward to coming together for the Annual Swimming Carnival for K-6 next Friday 13th Feb! A full program of events will be sent out to parents on Thursday. 

As always, we need lots of volunteers to be able to run these events smoothly. If you are able to help out with jobs like timekeeping, setting up school shades, helping the P&F with the BBQ etc. please reach out by emailing me via the Compass app. or contacting the front office. 

IMPORTANT: So that our beginner and less confident swimmers can participate in lots of fun events at the carnival, we ask that one parent or carer is available to assist their child in the water for the novelty out-and-back races. Student safety is our priority and they will not be able to participate without a parent or carer in the water with them. This has worked well in previous years. *If you know your child requires assistance and you're unable to be in the water with them, please contact me asap. 

A form was sent out this morning regarding entering your child/ren in events for the carnival. We are trialing this system this year so feedback is welcomed.

- Swimming Carnival K-6 Fri 13th Feb

- Diocesan Swimming Carnival (qualifying students only) Fri 27th Feb

- Tennis coaching K-6 Wed weeks 5 - 8

- Winter Trials (selected students) Fri 6th Mar

- Cross Country practise K-6 Fri 20 Mar

- Cross Country Carnival K-6 Thurs 2nd Apr
