From the Principal's Desk
Week 10
Last week every class reached 50 PAX points. All classes gain PAX points for demonstrating great PAX leadership in both the classroom and playground. Students were allowed to use their student voice to determine the reward with 100% of classes asking for extra play. It was so heart warming to have so many students approach me in the playground during the extra play to say thank you.
Touch Football
Congratulations to Brodie, Nixon and Oliver who attended the NW Touch Football trials yesterday. They both showed great determination and sportsmanship. Their manager Mrs Usher sent through this beautiful message this morning.
"I wanted to reach out to your school and let you know how impressed I was by the boys in the Armidale zone touch team.
Their sportsmanship was excellent, they listened to and took on my feedback, and every one of them showed plenty of grit and determination".
Rugby Union Trials
Congratulations to Brodie, Nixon, Tom, Hannah and Maddie who were selected in the Armidale Zone Rugby Union team. Hannah and Maddie will head to Narrabri tomorrow, whilst the boys will travel to Tamworth next Tuesday.
Athletics Carnival
Last Friday we held our Athletics carnival for students turning 8 and above. It was a fabulous day with so many students going in events to get house points and everybody showed great sportsmanship cheering each other on. Congratulations to all our students who received places.
We look forward to completing the events with the high jump on Friday along with our K-6 Novelty Athletics carnival.
A huge thank you to our P&C, parents and friends who helped with the P&C canteen and events and Mrs Clarke for her organisation. You are amazing!!
Friday 26 June
There will be no Assembly on this day. We will begin the day at 9:30am for the Opening Ceremony in the hall. Magpies will complete their assembly item for the opening ceremony.
Students will wear house colours and compete in their houses. The day will run as follows

7 Year Boys
7 Year Girls
During this time Mrs Bull will be completing the jump off for the high jump starting with:

Novelty races for all students will run throughout the day, finishing at lunch time.
Parents are welcome to come to both days.
The Armidale Zone carnival will be held on August 7 in Tamworth on the all weather track and Athletics centre.
WELLBEING- PAX VISIONS
