A Message from the Principal
Mrs Amanda Sheridan
This term is set to be an exciting one with rehearsals for our play in full swing and props, backdrops and costumes being designed. You can reserve seating for this event via Compass in the coming weeks. We look forward to sharing the students' talents with our community.
During the winter break, we were fortunate enough to secure trades to complete some improvements around the school. We thank the school community for your fundraising efforts that helped fund the installation of the hydrobank, which provides filtered, refrigerated water for our students.

We also installed wall-carpet tiles in the Stage 1 classroom, creating greater display space so the walls can serve as a third teacher.

The benches under the sails were cleaned and resealed, ready for the grand opening of our rebranded "Daily Bread Cafe," which serves our students breakfast three days a week and lunch on Friday.

We had the eating area resurfaced to ensure accessibility and safety of our community.

Our playground is a construction site at the moment as we complete the work on the retaining wall and fence.

The PT and F meeting will take place at 6pm this Wednesday evening. You can attend in person in the school library or via the Google Meet link available on the school calendar and on the PT and F page in the newsletter. During this meeting, I will give a short presentation about Media Consent at St Joseph's School.
Enjoy your week, and as always, reach out if I can be of assistance.
