4WL Primary Mass

This Friday, 4WL will lead the Primary Mass with the focus on the second week of Lent. Students have written the Prayers of the Faithful for the Mass and chosen the songs. Family and friends are welcome to attend the Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Friday 6th March at 9:30am.

Kinder to visit the Church

On Monday 9th March at 10:15am, our Kindergarten students will go and visit Sacred Heart Church. This visit links to their RE unit of work and also in preparation for them attending their first Prayer Celerbation on Friday with all of Infants.

2D Infants Prayer Celebration

2D students will be leading the Infants Prayer Celebration on Friday 13 March. During this special time of prayer, students will reflect on how God always loves and forgives us, and how Lent invites us to grow in goodness and generosity. Family and friends are invited to join the Prayer Celebration on Friday 13 March at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Big Water Walk

On Thursday, 2 April, our students will take part in our annual Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion – Unite Against Poverty. This meaningful initiative helps raise awareness and funds for communities around the world who do not have access to clean, safe drinking water.

Every day, millions of people are forced to walk more than 30 minutes just to collect water for their families. This Lent, our HTS students will walk in solidarity with them — experiencing in a small way the challenge many face daily — while raising vital funds to support life-changing projects through Project Compassion.

We warmly invite families and friends to sponsor our students and support this important cause. Donations can be made in two ways:

Cash donation – Students are encouraged to kindly seek sponsorship, complete their form, and return it with donations in Week 10.
Online donation – Scan the QR code provided (tax deductible)

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference in helping provide clean water and hope to communities in need.

Thank you for your generosity and for walking alongside us in the fight against poverty this Lent. Together, we can make a meaningful impact. 💜

Fish Day on Ash Wednesday

On 18 February, our school community gathered for a reverent and prayerful Ash Wednesday Liturgy, marking the beginning of the sacred season of Lent. As ashes were placed on our foreheads, we were reminded of the call to turn our hearts back to God and to begin this special season committed to prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

It was wonderful to see students participating so thoughtfully and respectfully in this important moment of our Church year.

We also enjoyed our first Lenten Fish Day for the year. A sincere thank you to everyone who supported this initiative and to our canteen staff who prepared approximately 200 Fish Day orders — an incredible effort!

May this season of Lent be a time of reflection, generosity and hope for all in our community as we journey together toward Easter. 💜
