Sports Update

Regional Softball
Last week on Wednesday the 28th of October, some 5/6 girls went all the way to Geelong to participate in the Regional Softball competition.
In our first game we played Newport Gardens and unfortunately lost 12-15. Next we played Stevensville and won 15-10.
We sadly didn't make finals, but we came third in our pool which is an amazing effort. A huge thank you to Mrs Dodd for coaching and leading our team. Another huge thanks to Braemar for volunteering to take us on their awesome bus and taking us to Maccas afterwards. Also, thanks to Mel the softball coach for coming along to Division and Regionals to support us.

Athletics
Recently Easton H participated in the State Track and Field.
He was successful in his Discus event and will now be part of SSV (Team VIC) and will compete at the School Sports Australia Championships at the end of November.
We wish him the best of luck!
Year 1/2 Swimming Program
Students learnt about safety, water awareness, and how to improve their confidence in and around water. Students were challenged to swim in their clothes for a session. They finished the week by participating in a fun lesson using rescue techniques such as boogie boards and life jackets to save their fellow swimmers.
