Art

Australian school students in Years 5 and 6 have been invited to send in their artwork to become part of a projection onto the front of the Australian Parliament House. The projection will be on display from 26 February to 8 March 2027 during Canberra’s Enlighten Festival 2027.  The spectacular projection will showcase children’s artworks from across Australia and help celebrate 100 years of Parliament in Canberra.

These are the submissions from our students at RWPS.

PE Updates

Regional Athletics

Well done to Anna, who competed in the 800m, and Duo and Alina, who competed in the hurdles, for representing RWPS at the Regional Athletics earlier this term!

All three students ran incredibly well, and we are so proud of their efforts and determination. A special mention to Alina, who came second in her race and qualified for the State Championships!

Good luck at States, Alina! We’ll be cheering you on!

Division Basketball

Last week the mixed/boys basketball team competed in the division basketball. They played incredibly well as a team and didn’t give up despite playing some tough competition. They were runners up for the day winning one match and one loss against a very strong side. Well done team, you did us proud!

Division Tennis

Well done to the boys and girls tennis teams who played their division tennis finals last week. Both teams played really well in the hot conditions and represented RWPS with pride. While the teams didn’t get the win overall, they had lots of wins in the doubles and singles matches, especially the girls team which the results came down to the wire. Excellent efforts team!
