Foundation: Fantastic Final Term!

Term 4 has started with a bang in Prep! We’ve enjoyed Kitchen Garden this term (LA 1), assembly (LA 2) and even a special visit from the firefighters.

With only seven weeks to go, we are so impressed with how much the Preps have grown this year. They are reading fluently in both English and Chinese, demonstrating resilience and respect at school, and developing strong independence.

In Kitchen Garden, the Preps showed great responsibility while making rainbow rolls and learning new knife skills. They also loved learning about the garden, looking for birds and making alphabet grissini.

The Preps loved having the firefighters visit on Friday and are looking forward to another visit tomorrow, which may even include a fire truck!

Just a reminder that next Monday is a student-free day. LA 2 will also begin Kitchen Garden in Weeks 5 and 6. If you would like to volunteer, please speak to Simone.

We are busy practising for the concert and really appreciate all the costumes that have been sent in. A reminder that LA 1 needs a plain black top, while LA 2 needs a white top.
