VET Cookery Students Serve Up Another Successful Luncheon:
Our VET Cookery students proudly catered for the Courage to Care group this week, preparing and serving a delicious morning tea and two-course lunch as part of their Certificate II in Cookery training.
Guests were welcomed with a delightful morning tea featuring homemade Yo-Yos filled with vanilla and passionfruit icing and Lemon Curd Slice.
For lunch, students showcased a range of fresh, seasonal dishes, beginning with PumpkinSoup served with fresh bread, followed by a selection of beautifully presented salads including Roasted Vegetable and Avocado Warm Salad with Nut-Free Dukkah, Grilled Artichoke Salad with Aioli, and Moroccan Spiced Couscous with Scrambled Eggs.
Throughout the service, students demonstrated excellent teamwork, organisation, food preparation skills and customer service while producing high-quality meals for their guests. The positive feedback received was a credit to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
This lunch service marks Service Number 10 for the year, meaning our students now have just two more services to complete before finishing their practical service requirements for their Certificate II in Cookery.
Congratulations to all of our VET Cookery students on another successful event.
We are incredibly proud of the professionalism, enthusiasm and confidence they continue to demonstrate with every service.
Well done on another fantastic achievement!
