PDSSSC Thursday Rep Sport - Season 3

 

Season 3 has now officially begun. You may choose to follow our team's progress by visiting the PDSSSC Sport website to view the draws and results. 

 

 

PDSSSC Secondary Athletics Carnival 

 

On Wednesday 2nd of September, we had around 25 students compete at the PDSSSC Athletics Carnival. Students participated in a range of Athletics events against all schools within the Parramatta Diocese. We congratulate all students who qualified to participate in this event as the level to qualify is already quite high, so it is an exceptional effort. Special congratulations also go to the following students who placed on the day - 

 

Charlisse (Stage 5) - 14U girls - 4th in the 1500m, 2nd in the 800m, 2nd in the 400m. 

Cruz (Stage 4) - 14U boys - 1st in the 200m, 2nd in the 100m, 1st in the 400m. 

Hannah (Stage 4) - 14U girls - 2nd in the 200m, 1st in the 100m.

Cameron (Stage 4) - 12U boys - 3rd in the 200m, 4th in the 100m, 3rd in long jump. 

Declan (Stage 5) - 16U boys - 3rd in the 200m, 3rd in the 100m, 2nd in long jump, 1st in shot put. 

 

We wish Cruz, Hannah and Declan all the best as they have now qualified to compete at the NSWCCC Athletics Championships. 

 

Woolworths Cricket Blast 

 

Year 3 - Year 6 Students participating in the morning Woolworths Cricket Blast program have now completed three weeks and have one more session to go before the program wraps up. Students have been focusing on their batting and bowling skills. It has been fabulous to see the improvement each student has made each week.

  • 3/11/26 - St Luke’s Twilight Swimming Trials 
  • 11/11/26 - Stage 2 and Stage 3 Boys and Girls Basketball Gala Day

 

Students will be notified closer to the above planned gala day events when trials will take place. All students are welcome to attend the trials for their correct age group. 

 

More information will be shared shortly regarding St Luke’s Swimming Trials and how parents can register their child if they wish to participate.
