Hello Spring!
As we welcome the arrival of spring this week, there is a renewed sense of energy and optimism across our school community. The brighter days and warmer weather bring a welcome change of season, and with only a few weeks remaining in Term 3, I encourage our students to embrace this renewed energy and finish the term with purpose, commitment and a continued focus on their learning.
Thank you again to our students for the small acts of kindness they demonstrate each day. These simple gestures make a meaningful difference and contribute to the positive and caring community we are proud to share.
End of Term Dismissal
A reminder to all families that our school dismissal on the last day of term (Friday 18 September) is 2pm at Kildare Campus and 2:05pm at Brigidine Campus.
NSW country bus travellers will be supervised by staff members at both campuses until the regular bus time.
R U OK: A conversation could save a life
Thursday, 10 September 2026 is R U OK?Day but we know that the people around us go through life’s ups and downs every day which is why we have free resources to help you keep the conversation going year round.
You might be surprised to learn that many people underestimate the power of an R U OK? Conversation.
Our research shows that a third of people don’t realise the difference they can make by checking in with someone they care about despite the fact that 9 in 10 of those who were asked, ‘are you OK?’, report feeling grateful, cared about and supported.
We also know 1 in 4 people might hesitate to ask even when they think someone is struggling. That's why we're reminding everyone that if someone's on your mind, trust your instinct and start a conversation.
If you’re thinking it, Ask R U OK? Any Day because what people value most is trust, a sense of genuine care, and someone who really listens to them, without judgement.

Year 12 Celebrations
Plans are well underway for our Year 12 Graduation, an important milestone in the farewell and celebration of our Class of 2026. We look forward to sharing this special occasion with our Year 12 students and their families as they prepare to close a chapter on their secondary school journey and commence the exciting new stage of their lives beyond our school gates.
Information about the Graduation has been shared with families this week, and our Year 12 students will take part in a rehearsal and assembly next Tuesday 8 September.
Student Leadership
The student leadership process is also well underway for 2027. Well done to all candidates on your courage and willingness to lead in these areas of school life and we look forward to announcing our College Captains and LJLP Leaders at our campus assemblies during the final week of term.
We encourage all students aspiring to lead in a House Captain role to finalise their applications and they will present to their peers and House Leaders on Tuesday 8 September. Once again, well done to all students who have shown courage throughout the process.
Ctrl Your School
Following the engagement of our Year 10 students with Ctrl Your Scroll recently we would like to highlight further resources available to families to engage with at home.
Ctrl Your Scroll is an organisation working to create collaborative spaces where students can explore their device use and reflect on its impact. As they gain an awareness of how technology shapes their life, the hope is that they can also build the skills and confidence to take control of it.

Kildare Campus update
We have been listening to the feedback and concerns from students and parents about the Kildare campus toilets. Their voices are helping us identify areas for improvement and positive change to create cleaner, safer and more comfortable facilities for everyone.
From Wednesday 2 September, toilet facilities at Kildare Campus will now be structured in the following locations:
- Nagle Building toilets: male students only
- Hayden Building toilets: female students only
- Brennan Building toilets: unisex toilets
Young Driver Program: Cool Heads Initiative
We're excited to be hosting this valuable session for our local community.
A thought provoking, confronting and informative road safety program with advice on a wide range of topics for young drivers. Presented by Victoria Police and local agencies.
We strongly encourage parents/careers to attend with their children.
