This award goes to Mackenzie for her outstanding improvements in Writing. She recently wrote a terrific recount about our excursion to the Knox Community Gardens, showcasing her understanding of the Write2Read codes. We are so proud of the effort and enthusiasm she brings to her learning everyday! Keep it up Mackenzie!

This award goes to Adrian for displaying the HEART value of Excellence when writing his In the Ocean of Dreams poem. He excitedly wrote a verse about three magnificent megalodons and presented his work in a creative way. Keep up the great work, Adrian!

This award goes to Cecilia for showing the HEART value of Excellence. Cecilia has shown creativity when writing her Haikus. She uses her creativity and clever ideas to make her poems fun and thoughtful. In the classroom, Cecilia always tries her best, shares her ideas, and always works well. Well done, Cecilia!

This award goes to the entire 5/6 cohort for being fantastic at The Summit camp. It was awesome to see our leaders of the school try new activities, give everything a go, and face their fears! It was inspiring to see our team work together to solve different problems like lifting each other out of a foam pit, dragging tyres through the mud, jumping off ladders, and even just washing the dishes. Thanks for making us proud, 5/6s!
This award goes to Avani for the fantastic skills she demonstrated during our golf clinics. Avani followed the coach's instructions to ensure a correct swing, and was the first person in the school to putt the ball in the hole. Well done Avani!
This award goes to Herman for the fantastic interest and curiosity he brings to Science each week. During our Chemical Science unit, Herman is always keen to explain what is happening during experiments and share his understandings. He also asks some amazing questions, well done!

This award goes to Emily for her fantastic collage of an insect. Emily used the knowledge she gained in Integrated Studies to create her insect. She included three body parts, six legs, four wings and antennae in her picture. Emily also arranged her pieces to fill the paper. Great work Emily!
