TERM 3 EARLY FINISH DAYS
Below are the details of two occasions in September, where students finish early at 12:30. Please mark these in your calendars and organise care if required:
- Thursday 10th September - 12:30 EARLY FINISH due to Parent Teacher Interviews
- Friday 18th September - 12:30 EARLY FINISH due to the End of Term 3
HOT DOG & FOOTY COLOURS DAY
Our Parents and Friends have organised the upcoming Hot Dog Day on Friday, 11th September. Students may wear their Footy Colours to school on this day. This could be the colours of your favourite sports team or the guernsey of the footy club you support.
Hot Dog orders opened yesterday and will close on Thursday 3rd September. These treat days are a wonderful way for families to support the fundraising efforts of the P n F.
PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS
Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on dates listed below:
- Thursday 10th September between 1:00pm - 7:30 pm
- Tuesday 15th September between 3:30pm - 7:30pm
Interviews will be held in 15 minute time slots and will be offered online and in person. If choosing in person you will need to sign in at the front office on arrival. A booking link to make your appointment time has been sent to all families via the nForma Connect App, you can also access the booking portal via the link below:
FATHER’S DAY STALL
We will be holding our Father’s Day Stall on Friday 4th September. A big “Thank You” to our Parents and Friends who have been organising and packing our Father’s Day gifts for the upcoming Stall. The P n F Committee has purchased a range of fantastic gifts, which will all cost $6 each, with students able to purchase one gift each. Unfortunately we are unable to offer any IOUs.
SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL TONIGHT
A reminder that we have our second last Advisory Council meeting for the year, tonight. The School Advisory Council provides a forum for discussion and discernment, where the parent/guardian voice and perspective are available to inform and support the decisions made by the principal and parish priest for the good of school and parish where the wellbeing and outcomes for students is paramount.
The council meets formally either in person or remotely six times over the school year. Meetings are held on a Tuesday evening between 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Below are the meeting dates for the remainder of the year:
Tuesday 25th August at 6:30pm
Tuesday 20th October at 6:30pm
PREP 2027 INFORMATION NIGHT
A reminder to any family with a child enrolled for Prep in 2027, that we will be holding an Information Session next Thursday 3rd September. The meeting will be at 6:30 in our St John’s School Hall.

NEW LUNCH ORDER SCHEDULE
Due to dwindling orders we are no longer able to access Subway deliveries. In light of this students will be able to order from TK Tuckshop on a Friday only. These orders need to be made via parents Spriggy School App.

ASSEMBLY LIVE STREAMS
Each Friday the students gather for a whole school assembly in the Hall. This event is usually streamed to our Vimeo channel. Families can view the assembly by clicking on the link which is sent through via our nForma Parent App.
