Dear Parents and Carers,
As part of our commitment to making maths exciting and high profile at Holy Family, the Years 3-6s are taking part in a friendly Times Tables Rock Stars competition involving schools across Australia. Every correct answer your child gives helps their class — and our school — climb the leaderboard!

How it works
- Children can play in any game mode on play.ttrockstars.com using their usual login.
- Every correct answer to a multiplication or division question earns a point for your child, their class and the school.
- The platform calculates each class's average based on correct answers per student, so every player's effort counts equally.
The winning classes — in our school and across the competition — are those with the highest average.
Looking after player wellbeing
To keep the competition fun and balanced, there is a daily limit of 30 minutes of competition play per player. Your child can earn competition points for up to 30 minutes each day between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm AEST from Tuesday 1 September to Thursday 3 September. After 30 minutes of play on a given day, they will still earn coins in the game, but no further competition points.
