Summer Trials (Basketball and Tennis)
Friday 5th December, Zara Correy, Harry Smith and Brooke Halloran attended the ACS Tennis Trials and Chase Gelhaar attended the Basketball Trials. Congratulations to these students on the effort and sportsmanship they displayed during these events. Despite not progressing to the next level, this day was a wonderful experience for these students.
Thank you to the parents for transporting your children to Tamworth for the day.
2026 St Joseph’s Swimming Carnival
For all students at St Joseph’s in Years 1 to 6 next year, keep an eye out for a consent form sent out via Compass for your child to attend this event. The carnival will be held on Wednesday 11th February 2026, with the back up date being Monday the 16th February.
At the beginning of next year, your child will come home with a form to nominate for the races to be held at the carnival.

As I write my final newsletter article as the Sports Coordinator for St Joseph’s, I am filled with gratitude. This role has been incredibly fulfilling, and I feel truly privileged to have worked so closely with our dedicated staff, talented students, and the wonderful families of "St Joey’s."
To every parent and friend who volunteered their time: thank you. Your contributions have been vital to the success of our sporting events and have made my journey here so much smoother. Beyond the logistics, I know how much your children value seeing you involved in their school life.
I ask that you extend that same generosity and support to Mrs. Sarah Smith as she steps into this role. Sarah has already been an invaluable help to me this year, and I have total confidence that she will excel. Thank you, Sarah, for everything!
