Reminder: 2027 Grade Combinations - Parent / Carer Feedback
A reminder that optional parent/carer feedback regarding 2027 grade combinations is due by next Wednesday 28 October at 9:00am.
If you would like to provide feedback, please complete the Google Form here. Please keep the following in mind:
Feedback is optional and must be submitted via the Google Form only.
Responses should focus on your child’s individual needs. Requests relating to a particular teacher’s performance or personality will not be considered.
Responses are limited to 750 characters per child.
Late submissions cannot be considered, and additional emails regarding class placements are not required.
While parent/carer input is valued and considered, staff make the final decisions, taking into account the academic, social and emotional needs of all students, as well as the dynamics within each grade.
Thank you for your ongoing support and trust as we work together to support positive transitions for all students in 2027.
Grade 6 Public Speaking Competition
Yesterday, a group of our Grade 6 students proudly represented Bell PS at the Northcote High School Public Speaking Competition. We are incredibly proud of the effort, confidence and thoughtfulness they demonstrated.
Speaking on the topic “Words Can Change the World”, our students presented a range of diverse and meaningful perspectives, exploring ideas such as the importance of Braille, the loss of languages and the power that words can have.
It was wonderful to hear our students shared their ideas with such confidence and engaged the audience with their thoughtful messages.
We are so proud of all the students who took part. A special congratulations to Ellie, who received an Honourable Mention, and June, who achieved 1st place! What a fantastic achievement!
