K-6 Assembly Awards Recipients 

Year 4 Religion

Recently, during Religion Year 4 have been investigating what it means to prepare for Holy Week and how to strengthen their relationship with God. Students have been exploring the work of Caritas and Project Compassion and how they can move toward almsgiving and fasting in the way Jesus showed us. Students have been strengthening their connection to God through prayer and gratefulness, and working to create a Prayer Chain which connects their united hope for the world and God’s people whilst reflecting on the things they are grateful for. Did you know that pretzels originate from Christians and were a symbol of Lent? The ‘little arms’ remind us that Lent is a time of prayer.
