From the School Leadership Team

We also have some very special events coming up over the next few weeks.
On Friday 13 March, we will host our Foundation Parent Welcome Evening, and we look forward to connecting with our newest school families in a more relaxed and personal setting.
Congratulations to Sam Boileau-Capell on his selection to represent Tea Tree Gully District at the State Swimming Championships which is to be held on Tuesday 24th March. Well done Sam!
Sports Day - Friday 11 September
Please mark your calendars! Sports Day will be held on Friday, 11 September. We are looking forward to a fun day with excellent weather. More details will be provided closer to the date.
Later in the term, we will also hold a Tabloid Sports afternoon for Years 3-6, which will serve as a selection trial for SACSA Athletics. Further information will be communicated soon.
Please continue to keep Mrs McCusker, our Sports Co-ordinator and PE Teacher in your prayers as she recovers from a back injury sustained before Christmas. We expect her to return in April and look forward to welcoming her back to the classroom.
Kiss & Drop Zone — A Friendly Reminder
Thank you to all our families for your efforts in making drop-off and pick-up as smooth as possible each day. We'd like to take a moment to remind our community of some of the logistics that are helpful for the smooth functioning of our kiss and drop zone.
The kiss and drop area is designed to keep traffic moving continuously, ensuring all students can arrive and depart safely and efficiently. To help this work for everyone, we ask that:
- Children are ready to exit the vehicle as you pull up, with bags packed and farewells said before reaching the zone.
- Drivers remain in their vehicle as much as possible - please avoid getting out to open doors, assist with bags, or watch children walk in as much as is practicable.
- Vehicles move forward promptly once children have alighted.
We completely understand that some of our younger students may require a little more hands-on assistance. In these cases, we warmly encourage families to use our car park, where you are welcome to take the time you need without impacting the flow of traffic.
Your cooperation makes a real difference to the safety and experience of every family in our community. Thank you for working with us on this!
LLL - Charitable Donations Program
We're thrilled to partner with LLL Australia to bring you a meaningful way to support our school through their Charitable Donation Program.
Your generosity in making a deposit with the LLL through a Charitable Facility Account which will assist us in upgrading our Foundation playground.
The funds you hold in your Facility will generate notional amounts of interest that is retained by LLL who will make a regular allocation to us to further our project, while your original investment remains completely untouched.
Our partnership with LLL Australia makes it simple and secure by:
- Opening a new LLL Charitable Facility.
- Nominating Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School as the preferred beneficiary of the interest your facility will forgo.
That's it! You can rest easy knowing your money is making a meaningful difference in our community—all with zero fees or charges to you.
If you would like to know more, please contact Tanya Rowland, our Business Manager.
The link below enables you to open an LLL Charitable Facility and nominate our school.
Your investment helps us build a brighter tomorrow, together.

Just about everyone I know has a favourite tune, song or band. Over the years I have found many different music styles I like and often go through phases on what I listen to. Music helps me to relax and even helps me focus. When my kids were young, music at night helped with winding down and getting ready to sleep. Along with enjoyment, music has so many benefits.
