P&C News: Get Involved & Make a Difference!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make our Father’s Day Stall on 3 September such a success! 🎉 We hope all the dads, grandads, carers and other father figures had a wonderful Father’s Day filled with plenty of appreciation (and hopefully a little lie-in!). 💙
Fundraisers like these help us fund "the fun stuff" such as the curriculum-led excursions the P&C is paying for this year.
📅 Next P&C Meeting – Tuesday 15 September
Our next P&C meeting will be held on Tuesday 15 September at 7:30 pm, in the staff room and online. Everyone is welcome — whether you’ve been involved for years or have never been to a P&C meeting before.

🌟 AGM is Coming Up!
Our Annual General Meeting is coming up in November, and all P&C positions will become vacant.
If you’ve ever thought “I’d love to get more involved, but I’m not sure what I could actually do…” — now is the perfect time to come along, meet the team and find out!
There’s much more to the P&C than running stalls. Our executive team helps keep things organised, supports the school community and makes things happen behind the scenes.
What do the roles involve?
👋 President – Help lead the P&C, chair meetings, work closely with the school and keep everyone moving in the same direction. The President doesn’t do everything — they help bring people together and make sure the P&C stays on track.
🤝 Vice President – Support the President and step in when needed, while also helping with projects, events and the general running of the P&C. A great role for someone who likes to be involved and get things moving.
📝 Secretary – The communication hub! Manage P&C emails, keep the Google Drive organised, prepare agendas and minutes, coordinate newsletter items and help keep everyone across what’s happening.
💰 Treasurer – Keep an eye on the finances, budgets and payments, working with the rest of the P&C to make sure our money is being put to good use for the school community.
🥪 Canteen Coordinator – Support our wonderful canteen managers, liaise between the canteen, P&C and school, help with administration and timesheets, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
💡 Executive Committee members – Bring your ideas, help make decisions and pitch in where needed. You don't need to know everything — just be willing to contribute, collaborate and have a go!
You don't have to do it alone. There are existing procedures, role descriptions and plenty of people who can show you the ropes. And you can start by simply coming along to a meeting and seeing what it's all about.
So, if you’ve been thinking “maybe next year…”, now is the time! 🙌
