Unstoppable 24

As part of the Premier’s Sporting Challenge, Meadowbank Public School is participating in the Unstoppable 24 Challenge.  Starting today, there will be activities available at lunch time to keep our students active.  They can join activities in the hall or on the TAFE green and learn some new ways of moving at lunch times. 

We were lucky enough to win a school prize and have Andrew Redmayne, a Socceroo, join us last Wednesday.  The students from years 3-6 were able to meet Andrew, listen to him speak, ask some questions and have a photo taken with him.  The PSSA football teams were able to train with him and take a penalty shot against him.  Only a few were able to score!   

Keep an eye out on social media and the local paper for reporting of Andrew’s visit to our school, as well as interviews by some of our students and staff. 

Also on offer are some great individual prizes and the chance of winning a visit to the school from Justice Crew. So get on board, raise $24 to help more students have access to the wonderful wellbeing resources provided by Unstoppable 24.  Details in the flyer below.
