Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,  

We write to share that Mrs Kate Kelly will be moving to a new school leadership position within the Diocese next year. While it is always difficult to farewell a valued member of our community, we are delighted that Kate has been recognised with this new opportunity to continue sharing her gifts and leadership with another school community.  

Since joining St Luke’s, Mrs Kelly has made a wonderful contribution to the life of our school—particularly in the Years 5–8 space. She has been instrumental in designing and implementing programs that ensure every child is known, seen and valued. Her deep commitment to student wellbeing and learning growth has touched the lives of many families.  

Kate’s ability to connect authentically with parents and students alike has strengthened our partnerships with families and enriched our school culture. Just as importantly, her skill in coaching and supporting teachers has enhanced classroom practice and contributed to the continued improvement of teaching and learning at St Luke’s.  

We thank Mrs Kelly for her outstanding service and leadership and congratulate her on this next step in her career. She carries with her our gratitude and blessings as she continues to make a difference in Catholic education.   Recruitment for Kate’s replacement will begin in the new year.
