From the Principal's Desk

Late Arrivals
Could I kindly remind everyone of the importance of ensuring that children arrive at school on time each day? A prompt start to the morning not only helps students settle into their routines calmly, but it also sets them up for a successful day of learning.
We encourage children to be at school by 8:45 am, where they have plenty of time to unpack their bags and organize themselves for the day. It sets them up for success!
At present, we have an alarming number of children arriving late, which is causing interruptions to the rest of the learning community.
We understand that mornings can sometimes be hectic, and we truly appreciate the efforts families make to support regular and timely attendance. Your partnership is vital in helping us create a positive, focused, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Fees and Levies 2025
Thank you to all families who are up to date with their 2025 Fee and Levy payments. Your commitment and cooperation enable us to provide high-quality learning experiences, maintain school facilities, and support a wide range of programs for our students.
Unless a formal payment plan has been arranged with the school, all fees and levies should have been finalised by the end of Term 3.
As of today, a total of $36,834 remains outstanding.
Families with accounts still in arrears will receive an up-to-date Fee and Levy Statement this week. We ask that outstanding balances be settled immediately.
In fairness to all members of our school community, it’s important to remember that when fees remain unpaid, the financial burden is effectively shared by those families who have met their commitments. Timely payment ensures that all students benefit equally from the resources and opportunities our school provides.

As we approach the Advent season, our School Assemblies will be conducted in the Community Hall to incorporate our Advent Paraliturgies.

All families are welcome to attend. The liturgies will be followed by our usual Assembly items.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I hope you have all marked in your diaries the date and details of our much-loved End of Year Picnic/Christmas Concert scheduled for Wednesday, 10th December (back-up day Thursday 11th December)
Families will be able to set up
their picnic rug, join in some Christmas cheer and enjoy some time together before the formalities begin. Feel free to BYO a picnic dinner, or bring your own 'take-away'. Alternatively, our PFA will be running a sausage sizzle for you to enjoy.
In consideration to all, we ask that families sitting on deck chairs and the like set up toward the back or around the perimeter.
Formalities will commence around 6:00 pm with our Christmas concert: It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!'
After our concert, we will draw the winners of our Christmas Raffle (tickets will go on sale this week). And you never know... there might even be a visit from a man in red!
We hope this proves a wonderful opportunity to finish off the year on a high.
Christmas Raffle
This week each family will receive a book of raffle tickets to sell for our traditional Christmas Raffle.
There will be a distinctive Lego theme towards this year's prizes inlcuding a giant Hogwarts Castle Lego kit.
There will be a host of other prizes to be won with full details revealed in next week's newsletter.
Tickets are only $1.00 each!
Tickets (and money) are to be returned to the school office by next Monday 8th December (don't forget to write your name on them) and more tickets can also be purchased from the school office. Good luck!
Staffing 2026
Farewell
At the end of this year we also bid farewell to Miss Mia Erbsland. Mia has worked with us as both an afterschool care educator and a Learning Support Officer. We thank Mia for the support she has provided to our children and teachers and wish her all the very best for the future.
A full staffing list for 2026 will be made available next week.
Library News
Please return all library books and washed library bags to the Library by Friday 5th December. Miss Wilkinson will keep the Library bags until next year ready for borrowing.
If anyone would like to offer to make some Library bags for next year's Prep class please see Miss Wilkinson to collect the material. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Whole School Transition Session
On Monday 8th December our current Year Prep - 5 children will have the opportunity to gather in their 2026 Learning Communities as a 'taster' of what is to come.
This transition opportunity has worked well in past years in relieving some of the anxiety associated with the year-to-year transition. It will allow for students to experience the 'space', and for all children to 'meet and greet' as a new community.
This opportunity will be a good precursor into our Step-Up Day, where children will meet their teacher and classmates, on Monday 15th December.
Timetable Changes
In order to support 2026 planning there will be some timetable changes next week.
Please pay close attention to all communications from your child’s teacher (e.g., Class Dojo and communication walls).
Behaviour Warriors
Congratulations again to Year 1/2M who were crowned Behaviour Warriors this week for receiving the most tokens for displaying our positive behaviour traits:
- Being Safe
- Being Respectful
- Being Kind
- Being Responsible
- Being Learners

ABC Music Concert
Our children performed magnificently at our ABC Music Concert yesterday. The event drew a packed house, and the audience was delighted by the talent, enthusiasm, and hard work on display.
We are incredibly proud of every student who participated. A special thank you goes to our music teachers Megan and Tom who guided the children so patiently and passionately. And, of course, we appreciate all the families whose encouragement helps our students shine.
Music clips will be uploaded to our socials next week.
Have a wonderful week
God Bless
