Hoop Time Competition 

A big thank you to the children who represented St Mark’s in the Hoop Time competition at Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium on Thursday 21st August.  The display of sportsmanship and enthusiasm was just fantastic to witness and I was so proud to be part of this on the day.  The day was run as a round robin tournament featuring many teams from the Glenroy District. The children demonstrated great skill and teamwork and they did a marvellous job throughout the day. 

Thanks also to Mrs. Barbanera and Miss Sophie who accompanied me on the day, supporting myself and the children.  Thank you to Kim Paolo who supported the children and who helped with the scoring.  It was much appreciated.

2025 District Athletics

Congratulations to all of our competitors who took part in the Athletics events at Meadowglen International stadium in Epping. 

A big thank you to Maria Barbanera, Emma Crotty and Ange Azzato for all their help on the day.  

We congratulate the following children on their success:

Luca who came first in the 12/13 boys Long jump and 3rd in the 12/13 Boys 100m race.

Christina who came second in the 12/13 girls 200m race.

Grace who came second in the 9/10 girls Long jump.

Alexander who came third in the 11 year old boys 100m race.

Joseph who came third in the 11 year old boys 200m race.

Zoe who came third in the 11 year old girls 800m race.

Only first and second now proceed to Divisional Athletics.  So Luca, Christina and Grace will represent the school in the Divisional Athletics on the 12th of September at Meadowglen International stadium in Epping.  Good luck to these children!

Congratulations to all the children for their exemplary behaviour and for always trying their best. I am so proud of you all.
