The Issue Highlights
Dear Families,
Literacy & Numeracy Week
What a week of activities! Students have taken part in a range of activities, including: shortlist book performance incursion, leadership read alouds, book week treasure hunt, and door decorations. Thank you to all of the families who supported their child/ren to dress up for the book parade today.
Father's Day
Thank you to the Parents, Carers and Friends Committee (PCFA) for running the Father's Day stall and organising the Father's Day breakfast today.
Today was our first Father's Day breakfast, so a big thank you to everyone who joined us!
We were most excited to host our Father’s Day Breakfast, serving up delicious egg and bacon rolls in celebration of the amazing fathers and father figures in our community. We appreciate the time all our father figures took to join us in their busy schedules and hope that a few friendships were formed, and now a few faces will be familiar.
We’re especially grateful for the generous support from PlumbWorx & Excavations, whose donation helped make this event possible. Congratulations to Rowan (father of Lauren) and George (father of Weaver) who were the lucky winners of the draw, both winning a Bunnings voucher.
Thanks to all who attended, volunteered, and contributed—your presence made this a truly positive and meaningful community event and we look forward to making this a tradition for years to come!
Wishing all our fathers and father figures a very happy Father’s Day.

The parking restrictions within these areas are now finalised and can be seen in the link below. You can select the area of interest and also click on the interactive map which shows the example of the parking restriction in the area.

Public Feedback | Brimbank Council Actions |
There is congestion and lack of parking during School drop off and pick up. | Change all day parking close to Jackson School to be timed parking. |
Increase parking enforcement | Conduct more frequent patrols once signs are installed, especially in parking areas that pose safety risks. |
There are issues with traffic congestion | Paint parking lines on the road to help drivers park closer to the kerb. This will make sure there's enough space for essential vehicles (like ambulances, fire trucks, or even large delivery trucks) to get through safely. |
It can be hard to enter/exit driveways | Paint parking bays on roads, to help drivers keep driveways clear. |
Road safety is a concern at bends | Review parking at bends, and if there are any safety concerns parking will be prohibited. |
Entering Mulhall Drive from the side streets can be a safety risk. | Introduce 2P restrictions along Mulhall Dr to allow turnover of vehicles to improve sightlines at intersections. Council will review if No Stopping anytimeparking restrictions are required to improve slight lines at these intersections. |
There are issues around the Hospital parking and emergency parking. | Encourage you to direct your feedback to Western Health website or email feedback@wh.org.au. |
What happens next? They're in the process of finding a contractor to supply and install the parking signs; aiming to complete these works within this financial year 25/26 (projected for December 2025).
