Want to become a teacher? ECU Teacher Education School to Split between Joondalup and New Perth Campus

The ECU Mount Lawley Campus will close at the end of this year due to the opening of a brand new campus in the Perth City region.

 

Faculties such as Business, IT and Creative Industries, including WAAPA, are to be moved to the new campus.

 

The Teacher Education School is to be split across both Joondalup and the city campus. Read what is happening to different teacher education degrees HERE.  

Starter micro-credentials 2025 

Year 11 and 12 students can now enrol directly in UWA+ Starter micro-credentials. There is no fee for students from Broadway Schools.

Register by 21 March: UWA Young Leaders’ Council Workshops for Year 11 & 12 

Monday 14 April & Friday 18 July 

The UWA Young Leaders’ Council is a subsidiary council of the UWA Student Guild, established in partnership with the University of Western Australia with the goal of connecting student leaders from across Western Australia and developing practical and applicable leadership skills to be utilised within school and broader community contexts.

TISC 

 

In 2024, 289 WA Year 12 applicants received an offer that considered Experience Based Entry factors in addition to or instead of ATAR.  

TISC Applications for 2026 open on 3 June. Early offers from 1 September.
