St John's Fete

Our St John’s Parish Fete held mid/late November every year is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate as a St James School, St John’s school and St John’s parish community.

Apart from the wonderful community spirit the fete generates, it raises funds for our St John’s parish and the two schools within the parish. Last year the fete raised approximately $10 000 for St James school. Both the 2025 and 2026 funds will combine with our Parents and Friends fundraising efforts to contribute towards the resurfacing of our lower grass/mud pit area for our students to use.

We are seeking your support with this years Annual St John's Parish Community Fete. Every year we have hundreds of volunteers from across the school and Parish to work on stalls, give donations and coordinate stalls. The fete needs volunteers to make it the great success that it is each year.

I am seeking volunteers from our school parents to join the Fete Committee this year. It can be for just one year or longer.

Your role would be to attend a few meetings in the lead up to the 20 November Fete Day and assist with communications and promotions across the school community.

Please consider one of the following roles and email either myself, Jen Harvey or Roshan venittoroshan@hotmail.com  should you have any questions or wish to volunteer for one of these roles either as the coordinator or assistant.

Thanks,

Dave
