EMPATHY

As we begin Term 3, our whole-school value is Empathy. Empathy is about taking the time to understand how someone else might be feeling, showing kindness through our words and actions, and recognising that everyone has their own experiences and challenges.

Throughout the term, students will explore what it means to listen with care, include others, celebrate differences, and respond with compassion. By explicitly teaching and celebrating empathy across the school, we hope to continue building a community where every student feels safe, valued, respected and connected.

We encourage families to support this learning at home by talking about how small acts of kindness and understanding can make a big difference in someone else's day.

SEMESTER TWO SRCs

Congratulations to our newly elected Semester 2 Student Representative Council members! These students have been voted to represent their classes, share student voice, and help make a positive difference in our school community.

We look forward to seeing them demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and service as they work together throughout the semester. We know they will do a wonderful job representing the students of St James.
