🌸 Mothers Day Afternoon Tea 🌸
On Thursday the 7th of May we were joined by all Mothers, Aunties, Grandmas and Special persons for a lovely afternoon tea at Haven. It was a joyous event, the children loved showing off their rooms.
🐣 Henny Penny 🐣
Field Room were delighted with their cheeky little feathery friends named: Winnie, Wilbur, Douglas, Gary, Harry, Tweetie, Marshall, Goldie, Peter, Benjamin, Michael, Zoe, Chilli and Charlie.
They had a ball watching them hatch and learning all about the life cycle of a chicken thanks to Henny Penny Hatching Melbourne South & Gippsland
🌳 Little Sprouts 🌳
To extend on their keen interest in the garden River and Sun had a chance to further connect with nature through The Little Sprouts Program by planting their very own pot plants they were able to take home. Thanks Annika!!
📚 Library Visits from Michelle 📚
It's always a treat when Michelle from Rowville Library gets to visit and read the children new and exciting stories, some favourites including The Giant Book of SNAPPY Little Colors by Dugald Steer with River Room and Lionel and Me by Corinne Fenton with Field Room.
🦷 The DENTIST 🦷
The Dentist. A very exciting experience for some and not for others, but each child booked in gave it a very good go to have their teeth checked by our lovely dental visitor Daniela. The children were gifted a sticker for their bravery and the Field room had a lesson on how to keep their toothy pegs clean and healthy! Have you had your teeth checked lately?
🖤💛❤️ Ganga Giri on the Didgeridoo 🖤💛❤️
Ganga Giri visited in celebration of NAIDOC Week to give a very special performance on the didgeridoo. The children clapped along and danced to the sounds. Ganga made all sorts of animal noises and engaged the children in plenty of movement activities, which they loved being involved in.
