CPS Acknowledgement System – Celebrating a Positive Start!

We are excited to share that our new CPS Acknowledgement System has had a fantastic start, with 115 student acknowledgements recorded in the very first week!
The system recognises students who demonstrate our school values of Respect, Resilience, Curiosity, and Integrity through positive behaviours that align with our Matrix of Expected Behaviours. When staff notice a student displaying one of these behaviours, they provide specific positive feedback and record the acknowledgement.
This week, we were thrilled to celebrate our first assembly draw winners:
Prep: Rayan for respect
Year 1: Kaya for integrity
Year 2: Arch for integrity
Year 3: Amanuel for respect
Year 4: Kade for respect
Year 5: Xavier W for resilience
Year 6: Hunter for integrity
Congratulations to these students and to all those who received acknowledgements throughout the week. The 115 acknowledgements recorded reflect the many positive choices our students are making every day across classrooms, the playground and specialist learning areas.
As the year continues, students can earn acknowledgements from any staff member, in any location around the school. Students who earn five acknowledgements for the same school value will also receive a special value wristband in recognition of their consistent demonstration of that value.
We are proud of the positive culture being built across our school and look forward to celebrating many more students who demonstrate Respect, Resilience, Curiosity and Integrity each day.
