Save The Date-Book Week & Open Morning!

Australia's annual Children's Book Week will be celebrated from Saturday 22 August to Friday 28 August. This year's theme is "Symphony of Stories."

At Carnegie Primary School, we'll celebrate with our Book Week Parade on Monday 24 August (Week 7) at 9:00 am in the Hall of Champions. We invite our families and school community to join us for the parade—it's one of our favourite annual events.

Students are invited to dress up for the parade as their favourite book character, author, or something inspired by this year's theme. It's time to start planning your costume!

Please bring a gold coin donation that will go towards our StoryDogs program.

Following the parade, we invite parents, carers and friends to stay for our Term 3 Open Morning. Visitors are welcome to join their child's classroom for a shared reading session for the remainder of Session 1.
