White Card Training

On Thursday, 28th May, all Year 10A and B students, along with several other students, completed their White Card training onsite here at Rochester Secondary College. The training was delivered by Lionel Curling from Kyabram P-12 College and involved nearly fifty students.

The day provided valuable insights into workplace health and safety, helping students develop a greater understanding of the rights and responsibilities associated with construction sites and other workplaces. The training was a requirement for VET Building and Construction students and will also create future work experience opportunities for all participating students. By obtaining their White Card, students are now eligible to visit and work on construction sites across a wide range of industries and occupations.
