Band rehearsals
Band rehearsals commence on Week 3 (10th Feb) in the school hall:
- Training band: Wednesdays Lunch time 1-2pm
- Junior band: Wednesdays 7.30-8.30am
- Concert band: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.30-8.30am
We are looking forward to seeing our musicians develop their skills and confidence throughout the year!
Important reminder, due to the recent parking changes on the school ground, parents are not permitted to drive into the school for morning band rehearsal drop off. Please park on the street and escort your child down to the hall via the middle gate. Thank you for helping us keep the area safe and running smoothly.
Training band
Welcome to the band family! With rehearsal beginning next week, we would like to remind parents to please secure tutoring and instruments for your child. The band recommends either Turramurra Music or Sydney Band Instruments in Gladesville for instrument rentals. The Band also has some instruments available for hire, feel free to email us your enquiries.
Band communications
All band parents will receive communications via three channels - School newsletter, Gmail (roseleaband@gmail.com) and Whatsapp. Please make sure you are in the correct Whatsapp group as this is the main channel for communicating.

Band committee 2026
Joel, Harshal and Fallon would like to thank the Band community for all their support over the last 2 years. They will be stepping down from their roles on the committee and a new team will be elected at the first P&C meeting in Term 1. Thank you to Daniel Gallagher, Jacqui Robinson, Carly Worrell and Paramjit Kaur Singh for stepping up into the roles of Convenor, Secretary and Treasurer for 2026.
The RPS Band Program is run by parent volunteers! We would love more people to be involved with the Band Committee. If this is something that you wish to be a part of, our first meeting will be held in the first few weeks of school - details TBC.
Upcoming events
Be sure to add this to your calendar:
- Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March: Band camp at Roselea Public School. All band members are required to attend. More details to come!

Term 1 invoices will be sent out by Week 4.
