Year 10 Work Experience
Year 10 students are continuing to complete Work Experience placements with a variety of employers across a vast range of industries.
The Work Experience program at Eltham High School allows students to complete Work Experience for up to one week, at any time throughout the year, to allow for more flexibility for employers and students.
The Work Experience Handbook is available on the Year 10 Careers Channel on Teams, with further information about obtaining Work Experience placements and includes links to Arrangement Forms, Safe at Work information and a helpful Student Portal listing many suitable local placements for students to access.
My Future Selfie - Years 7 & 8 Careers – Getting to Know Yourself
Year 7 and 8 Careers lessons are delivered through Involve and focus on getting to know yourself.
Students begin the journey of self-exploration, understanding their own skills, strengths, interests and values to make more informed decisions about the future. Students begin to recognise the employability skills they are developing through school, sports, community engagement including teamwork, communication skills and flexibility.
The theme:
Know yourself
Know your world
Manage your future
Sessions are continuing in Term 4.
