Ranges TEC 

VET COOKERY

This week our Year 2 VET Cookery students at Ranges TEC launched their Restaurant Nights. 

As part of their project-based learning, students plan and prepare a full three-course meal, invite friends and family, and step into the role of head chef – managing the kitchen, delegating tasks, and presenting the menu to guests.

It’s hands-on, high-pressure, and a real taste of industry!

To kick things off, our amazing Cookery teacher Alex led the first night for 30 invited guests. 

VET TASTER EVENING

To find out how you could be a VET student at Ranges TEC, why not attend our next VET Taster Evening on 5 August, 5.30-7.45pm. These hands on experiences are designed for Years 9 and 10 students interested in exploring future careers in trade, TAFE or the wider workforce. Available courses: Building and Construction, Cookery, Early Childhood Education and Care, Electrotechnology, Engineering, Furniture Making and Horticulture.
