Supporting Our College Families

Finian Foundation Grant Applications Close Friday 27 March
St Bede’s College was founded in 1938 by the De La Salle Brothers, a religious order established by St John the Baptist De La Salle in 17th-century France. His mission was to empower the community through access to educational opportunities. This legacy is carried on still by the College and the St Bede’s Old Collegians Association (SBOCA) through the vital work of The Finian Foundation.
Established in 2005, The Finian Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation administered by SBOCA volunteers. In the Lasallian tradition, the Foundation awards annual grants to eligible families experiencing financial hardship to assist with educational costs.
