Parent/Teacher Interviews
Our Parent/Teacher interviews took place last week, and it was fantastic to see so many parents and guardians attending. These meetings were a valuable opportunity for teachers to get to know the students better, gain deeper insight into their learning and discuss ways families can support their learning at home.
Kinder “Going on a Bear Hunt”
Kindergarten went on an exciting adventure last week as they took part in a Bear Hunt but with a fun twist! Instead of hunting for a bear, our students set off on a Principal’s Hunt, using their listening skills, teamwork and lots of excitement along the way.
As they explored the school, students followed clear directions and practised positional language. They walked ALONG the verandah, carefully looked UNDER the table and searched ON the bench. They discovered they couldn’t go THROUGH the chair which led to lots of giggles and problem-solving.
The anticipation grew with every step until, at last… they found Mrs O’Connor and Mrs Hatton!! The big smiles and cheers said it all.
Garden Club
Garden Club for 2026 is officially underway!
Under the guidance of Miss Jade Hamilton, our enthusiastic students have been busy preparing garden beds and learning how to care for our growing space. Our Year 3 students helped Miss Hamilton install the irrigation, while Kindergarten spent time watering the school garden and searching for worms!
Does your child want to get involved in Garden Club?
During morning assembly each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, one year group or stage is invited to help Miss Hamilton in the garden during the second half of lunch that day. There is always watering, shovelling, raking and picking to be done. Sometimes there are even goodies from the garden to take home!
We can’t wait to see what this year’s garden will produce, if you or your child has suggestions on what we can plant please let Miss Hamilton know!
Living Well, Learning Well 2026 Class Representatives
At assembly last Friday, our 2026 Living Well, Learning Well (LWLW) Class Representatives were announced and proudly presented with their badges. The role of the LWLW Representatives is to give students from Kindergarten to Year 6 a voice and the opportunity to share what matters to them at our school.
Well done to the students who were nominated from our Primary classes, along with our school leaders who will also serve as representatives. We look forward to seeing the positive contributions they will make throughout the year.
