Principal's Report
Tim Furphy, Principal
What a busy few weeks it's been since we returned. With some nerves from those on the bus (and maybe parents waving goodbye?!) we farewelled our grade 2-6 students to their camp at Philip Island. It sounded like an absolute blast. Whilst there were some tired looking faces returning a few days later (teachers included), the smiles and stories said it all. Thankyou to Gemma, Tanya, John, Bec and Laurent for being the parent helpers throughout. We know this takes you away from your families so we're really thankful for your time and commitment.
Election bake sale and sausage sizzle
I don't think I can say thank you enough to the parents who gave up their time organising and selling things the day. With plenty of moving parts and great amounts of time in the lead up spent preparing food, making flyers, collecting wood, wrapping baked goods or preparing our BBQ, our school community nailed the day. While I was unfortunately not able to get down here, I've heard from many people (including those in the wider community) share and describe the incredible community atmosphere. Thankyou!!!!!
Our school was able to raise $2163 for our Bake sale/Sausage Sizzle and $620 in our wood raffle sales.
Mother's Day afternoon tea
Thanks for coming along to join in the session with the kids. We hope you enjoyed your scones and tea!
Morning drop off
A reminder that supervision hours in the morning are from 8:45am. If your child is here early, please ensure they are booked into Schools Out. In the event students are here but not booked in, we will arrange care for them with the Schools Out team which will be billed to families. Thank you for your understanding.
Assembly
We want to keep sharing the great things happening around our school. Assembly is a great chance for you to come and hear about these things, celebrate the kids achievements and have a bit of a chat to other families. Our next assembly will be Friday the 16th May, ALL FAMILIES are welcome and encouraged to come.
Community Story Time
We're back towards the end of this term, come and say hi on a Monday afternoon and join the fun.
