100 Days of Prep!
A huge congratulations to our wonderful Preps on reaching 100 days of school! What a milestone it is. In just 100 days, our students have grown so much — from learning how to make friends, line up and settle into school routines, to becoming confident readers, writers, mathematicians and problem-solvers. Most importantly, they have learned to share, be kind, listen, focus and always have a red-hot go. We are incredibly proud of how far our Preps have come. 100 days of learning, 100 days of fun and 100 days of growing together. Well done, Preps!

Year Three
Our Year 3 students have been exploring the work of famous French artist Henri Matisse in Art. Inspired by his love of bright colours and the beauty of nature, students have created their own interpretations of Matisse’s famous Goldfish. They explored the use of warm and cool colours while considering how art can create feelings of calm, happiness and enjoyment. We think their colourful creations are fantastic!
In Art, we have been learning about Henri Matisse.
He was a famous French artist.He loved using bright colours in his artworks.
Nature inspired his artwork.
He painted pictures of people, flowers and landscapes.
He believed that art should make us feel happy.
One of his most famous paintings is called Goldfish.
Matisse painted goldfish because he thought watching them swimmade you feel calm and peaceful.
Matisse used warm colours like orange and cool colours like green tomake the painting interesting.
He wanted his paintings to make people slow down, relax and enjoylooking at beautiful colours.
