Celebrating St Therese's Feast Day

Our school community came together on Friday 9th October to celebrate the Feast Day of our patron saint, St Therese of Lisieux. We began the day with a special prayer service, taking time to reflect on St Therese’s life, her deep love for Jesus and her belief that it is through the small, everyday acts of love that we can make a difference to others. Her message of the “Little Way” continues to inspire us as a school community and is beautifully reflected in our vision to 'Do all that you do with love.'

Following our prayer service, students came together in their Family Groups to participate in a range of activities exploring St Therese, her life and her charism. Through stories, reflection and creative activities, students considered how they can live out St Therese’s Little Way in their own lives through kindness, compassion, forgiveness and small acts of love. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to celebrate who we are as a Catholic school community and to remember that even the smallest acts of love can have a lasting impact.

Socktober

Get your crazy socks ready! On Thursday 29th October, our school community will come together for our annual Socktober Crazy Sock Day, supporting communities in Malawi where children and families are facing significant challenges accessing food and education. This initiative is a wonderful opportunity for our students to put our Catholic faith into action by showing compassion, generosity and care for others. Students are invited to wear their craziest socks and bring a gold coin donation on the day. Families can also support this important cause by making a donation online via our school fundraising page: Socktober – St Therese’s Primary School Cranbourne North.
