Dear Families,
What a great start to the term we have had! The weather is finally warming up and the sunshine certainly made an appearance for our Feast Day celebrations. Thank you to everyone for the work that went into arranging such a wonderful day for our students. This year's colour run was a huge team effort, coordinated by Mrs Marino and Mrs Hastings, and I don't think any of us expected to raise just as much as we did. The goal was to raise $4000 to support the renovation work of our garden outside the Foundation room. To see this goal smashed and to have the funds to renovate the garden outside the library too was amazing. A whopping $9055 was raised and we are so very grateful to all of our community who donated. The enthusiasm of our staff was also appreciated, Mrs Davies, Mrs Hastings and Mrs White all agreeing to be slimed along with Mrs Marino, who was taken by surprise, added an extra layer of fun to the day.

Foundation 2027
This week has seen us open the doors to the newest and youngest members of the St Therese community. Our Foundation class of 2027 joined us for their first transition session and were warmly welcomed by Ms Colleen Kathard. Colleen will be our Foundation teacher next year and she has throughly enjoyed starting to get to know everyone. They still have 3 more visits and we can't wait!

Class Structure 2027
We are not yet in a position to share which year levels the rest of our teaching staff will be in next year but we have commenced the process of creating class lists. The class structure for 2027 will be:
I'm sure you will appreciate the complex nature of working to place the children for the following year. If there is information that you wish to share that will help us in this process, please email me - principal@sttcbourne.catholic.edu.au.

Thank you
I would like to thank Mrs Emma Davies for her leadership of the school whilst I took a period of leave. Her commitment to our students is to be commended and I appreciate her stepping into the role of Acting Principal in my absence. Thank you also goes to Mrs Rosina Chandra who took on the role of Acting Deputy during this time.
Kind Regards,
Felicity Broughton
