Congratulations to Our Primary Schools: Insights on the Rise!
What a great term it has been for writing across our Primary schools! We extend a massive congratulations to all schools for their enthusiastic and successful participation in the Term 4 Cold Write. Your dedication to fostering strong writing skills in your students is truly commendable.
A special shout-out must go to our Years 5 and 6 students and teachers who recently completed their final Cold Write digitally, marking an exciting step forward in modernising our data collection and student assessment processes. The students handled this new format with impressive skill and focus.
The best part? The results are already in! The data from the final Cold Write has been integrated into the Data Ecosystem and is ready for analysis. This immediate availability for most schools means teachers and leaders can dive straight into the insights, pinpointing areas of growth and planning for focus areas for 2026.
Overall, the trial has been a success, demonstrating the energy and commitment within our schools to elevating student writing. We look forward to seeing how these new insights will continue to shape and inspire amazing writing outcomes in the new year!
