The preparation for those students who are completing the sacrament of Confirmation and Eucharist will continue this Wednesday night at 6:30pm at the St Kilian's church. The sessions will continue each Wednesday night in the month of May.
May we keep those students in our prayers as they prepare to the receive the sacraments.
We will be offering baptism as part of our St Peter's Feast Day mass in the last week of term. If you would like to have your child baptisied into the Catholic faith, please See Mr Wilkinson and he will provide you with the details and information to make this happen.
The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Summary
In this Gospel reading, Jesus meets his disciples after rising from the dead. He gives them an important mission: to go out into the world and share his message with everyone. Jesus tells them to baptise people and teach them how to live as his followers. Even though some of the disciples still felt unsure, Jesus promised that he would always be with them.
This reading reminds Catholics that we are called to live our faith openly through kindness, service, prayer, and love for others. Jesus continues to guide and support us every day.

Loving God,
Thank you for the gift of Jesus and his promise to stay with us always.
Help us to follow his teachings and share his love with others through our words and actions.
Give us courage to live as faithful disciples each day.
May we bring hope, peace, and kindness to those around us.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
